By visiting the website at richmondmasonrycompany.com or by engaging RM Richmond Masonry to perform masonry services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.
RM Richmond Masonry provides residential and commercial masonry services in Richmond, California and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone and brick work, driveway pavers, and walkway construction.
All services are performed by our licensed and insured team. Service availability is subject to scheduling, weather conditions, permit requirements, and project complexity. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All written estimates provided by RM Richmond Masonry are based on the information available at the time of the on-site assessment. An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties have signed a written work agreement.
Estimates may be revised if conditions differ materially from what was visible or accessible during the assessment - for example, if hidden damage is discovered once work begins. In such cases, we will notify you before proceeding with additional work and obtain your approval in writing or verbally before continuing.
Verbal quotes are not binding. Only written, signed estimates constitute a pricing commitment.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled start date may result in a rescheduling fee, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material availability, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if a rescheduling is needed and will work with you to find an alternative date.
Some masonry work requires dry conditions or specific temperature ranges to cure and bond properly. We may delay or pause work at our professional discretion to protect the quality of the finished product.
Payment terms are outlined in each individual written work agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Specific deposit amounts and payment schedules will be stated clearly in the signed agreement.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of contracting. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees as specified in the work agreement.
Work may be suspended if payments are not received according to the agreed schedule. We are not responsible for delays caused by non-payment.
Many masonry projects in California require a building permit issued by the local jurisdiction. When a permit is required, we will obtain it on your behalf as part of the project. Permit fees are typically passed through to the customer at cost and will be noted in the written estimate.
Work that requires a permit will not be considered complete until a final inspection has been passed. We coordinate inspection scheduling; you agree to provide reasonable access to your property for the inspector.
You agree to:
We are not liable for delays, damage, or additional costs caused by your failure to meet these responsibilities.
Any warranty coverage applicable to your project will be stated in the written work agreement. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@richmondmasonrycompany.com.
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from events outside our control, including but not limited to earthquakes, flooding, vandalism, soil movement beyond normal seasonal variation, improper use, or modifications made by others after project completion.
