RM Richmond Masonry started in 2024 with a simple idea: Richmond homeowners deserve a masonry contractor who actually knows the city, not just someone passing through for a job. We are based on 23rd Street in Richmond and work in the neighborhoods most of our customers grew up in - Point Richmond, the Iron Triangle, Hilltop, and everywhere in between.
Richmond has a lot of older homes. Many were built during the shipyard boom of the 1940s and 1950s, and while those homes are solid, the masonry on them - chimneys, foundations, brick walls, and walkways - has had decades to wear down. The clay soils here shift with the seasons, and the coastal moisture off the Bay takes a toll on mortar and brick faster than most homeowners realize. We built this company specifically to handle that kind of work.
